Brief

M Financial Group hosts a conference every year for the principals of their more than 130 member firms to connect and grow their marketing expertise in the insurance and financial advising space. I was given the theme of this year and asked to create a branded experience that would come together in both digital, print and the live experience of the meeting.

I was also inspired by the lines and circles weaving around a circuit board.

The conference takes place in a new city each year and while not expected, the local area can influence the direction of the visual branding. This meeting took place in San Antonio and I took my initial idea form the city’s crest: a clover shape commonly called a quatrefoil.

The quatrefoil shape is solid, but to bring it in one with the theming of the conference I broke it out into its constant parts and gave them separate colors to show how differnt people with different experiences come together to form something new and bigger than the individual parts. These circles could be broken out into color coded circles for different attendee groups (guests, hosts, staff, vendors) and individual events.
